Was entertaining & informative. Especially now as he misquotes himself and changes his view.
It is a book worth reading, if you are interested in this man. It's all we have on him for info, and it's a wonderful portrayal of himself, by himself. He contradicts himself over and over in the near future, this book may of done more bad than good in the end. Much like he will, in the end. Very captivating words though. Easy to get on board, if you had no ties to a ship before! Love it.WONDERFUL
I have read his book reviews, but there is nothing like HEARING Obama's voice. To "babysue"; what has Obama done to you personally? I've checked out everything you have reviewed and each and every one of your reviews were bashing Obama. You exhibit PURE HATE. It's one thing to disagree with a person's personal opinions/views, but to bash and hate is a bit too much and unnecessary. My God, I hope you are not a teacher at any level, but especially early education. I think you are a great example of what happens when hate is taught.Fascinating Set

Hearing the written words in his own voice is a fascinating way to learn more about Barack Obama. I highly recommend this set for anyone who wants to capture the history of this election on CD and also enjoys listening to books as an alternative to reading for long trips in the car, etc.Great companion reading

The Grammy award winning recording of the Essential Barack Obama did not disappoint me at all. I wanted to read his 2 books and thought since he is such a great speaker with a dynamic speaking voice,I would get the recording of his books.I sit back,close my eyes and listen to his words and the ways he intended them to mean.I never bought an audio book before,so this was quite a treat to enjoy.Keyword : obama
